Yeah. I too must say mine on this film, which was discussed too. The wait is
was enormous, and what emerges from reviews and the majority of the comments, the disappointment was bitter.
And so it was for me? More no than yes. We go for points.
A Sequel late thirty
See this film without having seen the first is not impossible, but I personally do not recommend it. First of all because Tron is a cult and should be seen if you are science fiction fans (and, after all, cinema), but also because this is a true sequel, and does not lose (too much) time to re-explain the setting the film. The date is given for. It is a reboot and not a remake, but a genuine continuation and expansion of the first chapter, made thirty years later and with a state of the art digital technology.
The 3D
During processing the 3D Tron Legacy was defined as the next step on Avatar. Balla. Useless for most of the film, we see just in those two or three scenes in long shot, and it is absolutely essential to the visual quality of the film. On the other hand the film has left the trailer of "Sanctum 3D," produced by Cameron, and the 3D really broke. We will do a little thought.
the visual component
Going Home. I can not find another adjective. I believe that 90% of the budget of the film to be finished between designers and makers of special effects. The look is perfect, but more broadly follows that of the first in a coherent universe and absolutely fascinating. The special effects are flawless, really, as I said, the state of the art (and could not be otherwise for a film set almost entirely in a digital world). The race is on with motorcycles orgasm.
Olivia Wilde
HERE. Should I add something? Even that horrible wig touched her being so beautiful beautiful beautiful absurd.
The soundtrack
Whoever knows me knows what I think of electronic music. I'm an old rocker heart and I feel absolute contempt for the music without the computer. But I must admit to Daft Punk have done an excellent job, even exaggerated (at times the soundtrack was way too invasive, and gave an epic mundane actions). And then I found their very nice cameo, basically in the role of themselves in the local scene Zuse (off-topic, the worst character in the film, the debtor embarrassingly Riddler Jim Carrey in Batman Forever).
The screenplay
Here begins the critical part. E 'was defined trivial, full of bad dialogue and so on. I do not agree. Certainly not the strong part of the film, the plot twists are almost all telefonatissimi and the characters are sketched with an ax (the hero then ...) but I would not call it bad. It 's just not special. But we must remember that it is a blockbusterone of Disney, if you want witty scripts and innovative you have to go elsewhere ...
The religious metaphor
Tron is totally a gigantic religious allegory, and as the first in what was after all here is veiled, In my opinion, obvious. E 'developed in a not particularly original but well done. The only thing hard to digest is the result of God Zen / Jeff Bridges, really meaningless.
Tron
seen how they handled the character, did well to kill him before the movie and finish it there.
Software Companies Bad
The script was obviously written by pro-Linux old-timers (which, note nerd, have not spared in disseminating Linux commands in the computer systems that can be seen in the film). The message "Free software companies-looking information ugly "is a fucking tossed completely out of context and above all pointless (really believe there can be a big computer company that develops an ultra-modern operating system and gives it around for free? Up, by ...).
Ergo?
Ergo, all in all I liked it. And 'son of his predecessor, without having the importance or scope. There was no need? Probably not, but it's good entertainment (taking a few moments of tired and perhaps excessive spiegone) which is an orgasm for the eyes and ears. The heart and brain here can go on standby, there is material to either of them.
Council staff: noleggiatevi or Buy the bluray, do not spend 10 € for a 3d useless. But if you're lucky enough to find a cinema that sent him into 2d, who go there are money well spent.
PS: I hope that the release of this film on home video led to the publication of the dvd / blu ray even tron, which inexplicably was never released on DVD in Italy but only in vhs ...
